{"id":53,"date":"2021-03-09T19:13:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-09T19:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asling.org\/site\/?page_id=53"},"modified":"2025-06-23T12:45:01","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T12:45:01","slug":"activities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/asling.org\/site\/activities\/","title":{"rendered":"Activities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>To achieve its objectives, AsLing has engaged from its inception in 2014 through 2024 primarily in the following activity:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>organising and managing the specialized conference series, <strong>Translating and the Computer<\/strong>, of which it held 9 annual conferences TC36-TC44 from 2014 through 2022. All TC conferences, from TC1 through TC41 were held in central London (UK). Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic TC42 took place on the Web. As the global pandemic has persisted through 2021 TC43 again had to take place on the Web, 16-18 November 2021. TC44 was once again an in-person conference, held at the European Convention Centre Luxembourg (ECCL), 24-25 November 2022.
