Since 2017, Nathalie has served as team leader of the ISG Coordination Team at the Publications Office. The ISG is essential for maintaining consistency, linguistic accuracy, and coherence across multilingual EU documents. Her role involves not only updating the ISG content but also disseminating information, training users, and aligning standards across other EU guides.
Nathalie is committed to promoting the ISG as an indispensable and highly reliable resource. She works to raise awareness among colleagues about the ISG\u2019s accessible, vetted, and validated content, and common standards agreed upon by EU institutions and linguistic communities. Through her team\u2019s ongoing efforts, the ISG remains a trusted reference that supports consistency, clarity and quality across EU communication.<\/p>

\"\"Anik\u00f3 Gerencs\u00e9r<\/strong> holds a Master`s Degree in Library and Information Science and a PhD in Italian Literature from the University ELTE of Budapest. Since joining the Publications Office of the European Union she is working in the field of metadata standardisation and linked open data management. As a team leader of the Reference Data team she coordinates the maintenance of taxonomies, thesauri, ontologies and authority lists and their publication on the EU Vocabularies website. Her particular area of interest is the development of controlled vocabularies and the harmonisation of reference data management across European institutions. She is involved in the optimisation of the thesaurus management tool VocBench, particularly with regard to the analysis of users\u2019 needs and the improvement of collaborative and customised features.<\/p>

Summary: Aligning the words and phrases of a source language segment to the corresponding parts of its target language translation is a key step for many parts of the translation productivity pipeline, be it interactively assisting the translator with proposals, performing offline bilingual terminology extraction, checking TM quality, and so on. This session is intended for people or organisations wishing to run online tests or evaluations for simultaneous or consecutive interpreting, for example for certification or recruitment or in the context of training.
The platform allows to create new interpreting tasks, distribute them online and, after taking them, assess the interpreting performance based on rubrics and criteria.
If participants bring their own laptops, they can really try this out for themselves. For others, a hands-on demo will be given.<\/h4>

\u2022 Organising digital oral exams with live grading: hands-on with an online tool to organize oral or interview exams with live grading in criteria and rubrics<\/strong>
Length: One hour
This session focuses on online oral examinations or interviews where the candidate and the evaluator sit together in the same room (i.e. not remotely), but where the evaluator has a live screen in front of him\/her in which an evaluation form can be filled in. The entire session is automatically recorded and can then be assessed by a second, third,… evaluator (anytime and anywhere). The scores of the different evaluators can be combined into one common score. The platform allows to create and manage the entire flow of this independently.

\"\"Bert Wylin has both an academic and entrepreneurial profile. He holds a master’s degree in linguistics (French, Spanish, Portuguese). Since 1993, he worked at KU Leuven, where he headed the Education Innovation Centre, for the integration of EdTech into university education. Those were the pioneering years of EdTech.
In 2001, he founded a spin-off company from KU Leuven University, now Televic Education, developing and servicing educational technology projects and products. Today, Bert’s focus is on the content side of e-assessment: how can technology best meet the didactic and pedagogical needs of content and skills measurement and assessment? He is co-founder and inspirer of the assessmentQ platform.
