As User Track papers will not undergo peer review they have a later deadline. Optional papers reporting on the results of workshops and panels can, by definition only be written post facto. AsLing will allow several weeks after the conference for such papers.<\/div><ul><li>For <b>non-academic \/ user-experience papers<\/b> \u2013 as these will not undergo peer review \u2013 Friday, <b>XYZ 2025<\/b>;<\/li><li>For <b>post facto papers<\/b> reporting on the results of <b>Workshops<\/b> and <b>Panels<\/b> \u2013 Friday, <b>XYZ 2025<\/b>;<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">As was the case in prior AsLing will provide a separate site for authors to upload final manuscripts of academic papers or final versions of poster papers following peer review. For all papers, except where a submission was made via the Poster\/Short talk Track the word limit is 5,000 words. Poster Track submission papers have a 2,000 word limit. Word limits <em>EXCLUDE<\/em> references and bibliography, as well as the abstract. Abstracts should be between 150 and 200 words.<\/p><p>Formal papers describing workshops should adhere to the rules for final papers connected to talks. Non-academic papers expanding on user session talks should follow the same general format as other final papers, starting with an abstract, followed by the body of the paper, and ending with (in these cases, optional) references and bibliography. The body of non-academic papers may be structured freely. A summing up or conclusions section as the final part of the body is desirable in these papers, but not mandatory.<\/p><p>TC47 provides this description as Microsoft Word templates (both .docx and .doc versions). This document contains the formatting instructions for preparing a camera-ready version of papers accepted for publication in the TC46 Proceedings. The document itself conforms to its own specifications, and is therefore an example of what your manuscript should look like. Authors are asked to conform to all the directions reported in this document.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asling.org\/tc46\/tc46-formats\/tc46.dotx\">dotx<\/a> \u2013 template for use in MS-Word 2007 and newer versions to format your manuscript.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asling.org\/tc46\/tc46-formats\/tc46.doc\">doc<\/a> \u2013 in MS-Word 97-2003 format. Otherwise the same as tc46.docx.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asling.org\/tc46\/tc46-formats\/tc46.dot\">dot<\/a> \u2013 template for use in MS-Word 97-2003 to format your manuscript.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asling.org\/tc46\/tc46-formats\/tc46(Word).pdf\">tc47(Word).pdf<\/a> \u2013 output in Portable Document format, of tc47.docx.<\/li><\/ul><p><em>NOTE: As of now, the template files listed above are still tc46 (2024) templates. These will be updated in due time.<\/em><\/p><p>Final paper and poster manuscripts should be submitted via the START conference submission system.
